bro18.jpg (75613 bytes) Capt. Carl Rees uses a hypodermic needle to release gases built up from decompression. The fish are landed from depths ranging from 80-125 ft. and require quick handling to ensure survival at sea level.


bro19.jpg (79946 bytes) Another fish getting emergency treatment. Seven Muttons were transported to the dock, and then transferred by truck to the Aquaculture facility where they are providing fingerlings for further research. The last I heard, they were doing well and eating out of their owner's hand.
